As the situation currently stands, children in Ferrier will return to school in October to overcrowded classrooms with very minimal supplies and underpaid teachers. While completing the new school will alleviate one of these problems, we are also working to secure funding to provide supplies to the children and pay teachers adequate salaries. A gentleman named Jackson is a native of Haiti and oversees our operations in Ferrier. He has a genuine passion for helping the community. He owns a small bakery in town and donates a large portion of the revenues to providing scholarships to children in the community.
