Volunteer labor is a critical part of running our farm and maintaining our facilities. We hope you’ll join us by contributing in one of the following ways!

Weekly Volunteer Opportunities

(For individuals or groups of up to 6):

Librarian, see job description (.pdf) – Any week day morning or afternoon
Village Store Sales, see job description (.pdf) – Saturdays
Vegetable harvest -Tuesday mornings
General (unskilled) farm work - Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday mornings
General (unskilled) farm work - Monday, Wednesday or Friday afternoons
Lunch Preparation – Any week day morning
Food Shopping – Any week day morning or afternoon
Web Site Maintenance – Any week day morning or afternoon

One-Time Volunteer Opportunities

Pecan Harvest – Mid Nov. through Mid Dec.
     For individuals or groups of up to 12.
Farm Day Support – Mid October.
     Preparation & cleanup for a way-fun public event.
     For individuals or groups of up to 6.

Retired Volunteers

Each year we welcome retirees with skills in farm equipment maintenance,building construction and maintenance, etc. We have two RV hookups on the farm, and two nearby RV parks that accommodates larger groups. Come join our community for a week or more!
